Bob Chaplin: Since 1975, more than 40 exhibitions of Bob Chaplin’s have taken place at venues including The Queens’ Museum in New York; London’s Riverside Studios; the Arnolfini Gallery, England; and The Henie Onstad Arts Center in Norway. In 1993, Chaplin was awarded a Connecticut Commission of the Arts bursary to produce a limited edition book/folio, “Eminent Views,” with Stephen Bann. The book incorporates print with a montage of photographs, mixed-media and texts, and explores eastern U.S. and European places that have been typified as “views.” Currently Chaplin is the visiting artist at The Alden Weir National Historic site in Ridgefield, Connecticut.
