A former professional snowboarder, April Lawyer turned her attention to professional cycling when her friend Colin Bailey urged her to try downhilling. She won her first race and never looked back. Since then, Lawyer has made it to the World Cup podium and has won a silver medal at the X Games.Lawyer’s 2005 race schedule includes the Sea Otter Classic, numerous NORBA (National Off-Road Bicycle Association) races, the U.S. Open of Mountain Biking and the World Championships in Livigno, Italy.
